THE COMPANY
Founded in 2016, it is authorized with Single Environmental Authorization (n°01 of 02/02/2016) for the treatment and recovery of inert waste from construction and demolition, as well as specialized in the treatment and recovery of earth and rock from excavation; it has the skills and expertise to respond to all the needs of the sector. Quality of the services offered, environmental consultancy, continuous updating, collaboration with accredited analysis laboratories, make it a complete and dynamic company.
Overall the plant is able to recover inert waste up to 200,000 (two hundred thousand) tonnes per year, and today has a storage area for the recovered material R5 of approximately 1,000 sqm and a reserve area for waste R13 to be started for processing of approximately 2,500 sqm.
The recovery activity is carried out in accordance with the general principles set out in art. 216 of the aforementioned D.Lgs. 152/2006 and s.m.i. the waste supplied to the plant (recoverable from the test of assignment) pre-cernita, are deposited in the various reserve areas, called (storage cells) according to their type and CER code or directly to the crusher if they have homogeneous characteristics.
The waste resulting from the test of assignment, according to the type of material received will be carried out the recovery operations including the cernita and the separation of possible metallic, plastic and glass parts, etc. to be handled as temporary storage for then to be recovered or disposed of towards other authorized centres.
In case of presence of powdery material, it will be proceeded to the elimination of the powders by humidification with fixed or mobile irrigators or to the mobile covering of the heaps.
The operation of recovery of the inert waste is carried out through the volumetric reduction treatment in the crushing plant (ATLAS COPCO POWERCRUSCER PC 1055 J with capacity up to 200 t/h), for the production of inert material that ceases to be waste in accordance with art. 184ter of the current D.Lgs. 152/06 [R5 operations]
The C.A.D. Srl, moreover has adapted to the new Ministerial Decree 127/2024 End of Waste (EoW), which defines the conditions for the cessation of the qualification of waste for inert materials from construction and demolition. It establishes more differentiated criteria and thresholds for pollutants based on the final use of the recovered aggregate, making it easier to enter the market for different applications, environmental clean-ups, soils and concrete. It introduces requirements on the responsibility of the producer of the recovered aggregate, which must guarantee the quality and safety of the material.
